Public CommentsOctober, 2006: "...This is a photo of the 63rd St. location. The Mission Inn motel, which remained in business long after Smaks was gone and appears in the background, was located on 63rd St. (now Shawnee Mission Parkway)."

Collin Freeman (Shawnee, KS) writes, "Agree that the Smaks in this photo was on Shawnee Mission Parkway (formerly 63rd Street) as evidenced by the background gas station and motel."--February 6, 2008.
